Paralegal In-house

In-house paralegal role | Established legal team | No two days will be the same

• Established in-house team for a global entity
• Focus on contracts, corporate & commercial advisory, insurance, compliance, and leasing.
• In-house paralegal role (career paralegal or law student)

The company:
This global entity’s head office is in Brisbane with offices in over 50+ different countries. The established legal team is now looking for a paralegal to join their friendly and supportive team.

About the role:
Reporting to the General Counsel and Company Secretary and working across the business you will be: 

• Assisting with drafting leases, business & trademark renewals, a broad have a corporate, commercial and contracts focus including;
• Assisting with research, gathering evidence and materials;
• drafting and advising on various contractual agreements;
• providing compliance, regulatory and risk advice;
• intellectual property rights, IT, privacy and data protection; and
• complex multi-party commercial arrangements.

Skills/Experience:
To be considered for this role you will have:    

• ability to work autonomously and within a team environment;
• strong written and verbal communications;
• demonstrated experience in drafting commercial contracts or leases;
• a commercial approach allowing you to manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
