You’ll join a respected, high-performing legal group that works closely with HR and business leaders to deliver pragmatic legal advice that shapes how the organisation manages its people.

The role:
Reporting to the Head of ER & Safety, Legal Counsel, you’ll be the go-to employment law expert for the Australian business. Your work will include:

  • Advising on complex ER issues (performance, investigations, disciplinary, redundancies, etc);
  • Representing the company in employment litigation and advocacy work before tribunals and courts;
  • Partnering with HR and senior management to identify and manage ER risks; and
  • Leading continuous improvement of ER systems, policies and frameworks.

About you:
You’re an experienced employment lawyer (4+ years PAE) with a current practising certificate and strong technical knowledge of employment law. You’ll also bring:

  • Advocacy experience in courts / tribunals;
  • A practical, commercial mindset; and
  • The confidence to work autonomously while collaborating with HR and senior executives.
