The company:
This is a rare opportunity to bring your defendant professional indemnity, public liability, defendant insurance experience in-house on a mix of claims and policy advisory work.
About the role:
Working alongside an experienced, large team of lawyers, many ex-top tier and large defendant insurance law firm, you will work across:
- a range of professional indemnity claims for a variety of professions and industries;
- current workloads will see work across professional negligence defence in the construction and property industries as well as professional service providers from IT professionals to architects, engineers and valuers;
- some personal injuries matters; and
- advice work related to policy coverage, wording as well as new products.
Skills/Experience:
To be considered for this role you:
- will have 5-10+ years’ post admission experience in defendant insurance litigation ideally with professional indemnity, general insurance or personal injuries experience though other areas will be considered as training will be provided; and
- a commercial approach and ability to work relatively autonomously and run your matters (with support where needed).
