About the role:
Reporting to the firm’s founders, this role will suit someone ready to take ownership and build on their strong foundation in commercial and corporate law. You’ll be:
- advising on a mix of general commercial matters from transactions including M&A, capital raising and governance through to ongoing “in-house” style legal support for clients (e.g. contracts, privacy, and consumer law, managing data rooms, acquisition preparation, strategic advice);
- contributing to a growing team and supporting junior lawyers as the firm scales; and
- aligned with client values – the firm only works with clients who reflect their values and ethical standards.
Skills/Experience:
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- 4+ yrs PAE with solid commercial/corporate law training;
- a proactive, self-sufficient work style and the ability to build strong client relationships; and
- leadership potential and ambition to grow into a senior, possibly equity-holding, role.
