The Firm

This team advises listed companies, large private developers, contractors, government agencies, GOCs and energy/resources clients. It’s a genuinely stable practice – we rarely see lawyers leave (except to go in-house, overseas or top tier!).

About the Role
This is a broad construction role with a primary focus on back end disputes, complemented by front end contract reviews and advisory work. You’ll work closely with a respected Partner and multiple seniors in a large, well-resourced team.

Your work will include:

  • Construction litigation and disputes;
  • Security of payment matters and adjudication;
  • Delay, variations, defect claims and contractual interpretation;
  • Contract drafting, reviews and risk advice (front end component);
  • Infrastructure, energy, resources and government projects;
  • Working with multiple Partners across a high-performing practice.

This is a role where you get real responsibility at your level – with genuine support and high-end matters that rival the top tiers.

About You
You’ll have:

  • 2–10 years’ PAE in construction law (back end, front end or mixed backgrounds considered);
  • Experience managing files and building client relationships;
  • Confidence working across a busy, collaborative team.

Backgrounds from construction, projects or commercial litigation are all suitable.
