About the Firm:
This firm has long-standing client relationships and does not rely on any marketing. All clients are referred, and the firm operates with a focus on personal and long-term service. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to two directors working across property, commercial and succession law 
  • Handle a variety of tasks, including dictation, online searches, and general administrative duties
  • Prepare and issue billing using LEAP software, manage trust accounts, and assist with the recovery of accounts
  • Be involved in office management tasks and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Ensure the team works efficiently and harmoniously, maintaining a positive office culture – there is no hierarchy here; it is a team environment
  • Oversee invoicing, aged debtors, and work-in-progress reports
  • Assist with succession-related matters, such as wills and estate administration
  • Help with the safe custody of files, archiving, and maintaining office supplies

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a commercially minded, pragmatic, and team-oriented individual who values continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be able to balance independent work with teamwork, have keen attention to detail, and demonstrate a strong drive for delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous legal secretarial experience, with a focus on property or succession law
  • Experience with LEAP software, particularly with issuing accounts and managing trust accounts
  • A proactive, hands-on individual who enjoys being an all-rounder and supporting multiple facets of a law firm
  • Comfortable with a range of administrative and legal tasks, from property searches to billing
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
  • Down-to-earth and able to fit into a small, team-oriented office environment
