The opportunity:
Join this national mid-tier firm that works with many of Australia’s largest public and private companies across a wide range of sectors. In this team in particular, you will gain exposure to large scale and complex commercial and regulatory disputes in both state and federal jurisdictions as well as internationally.

The role:
In this role, your day-to-day will see you:
- work closely with knowledgeable and approachable colleagues;
- learn from a renowned Partner and Special Counsel in the public law sector;
- exposed to a range of areas like public and admin law, government litigation, competition and consumer law, judicial review matters, human rights, commercial litigation, and privacy;
- engage with high profile clients on challenging and complex matters;
- go out for a coffee once / week with your colleagues; and
- dressing for your day.
Skills/Experience:
To be considered for this role, you will:
- have ~1.5-5 years PAE in regulatory, public and administrative law matters;
- for extra brownie points – have experience in competition and consumer law (either front or back end);
- either currently be working in private practice in this area of law or in a relevant legal role in the public sector looking to transition to private practice;
- have good academics;
- possess strong attention to detail and drafting skills; and
- desire a challenging and rewarding career working in this diverse area of law.
