If you’re a Senior Associate, Special Counsel or junior Principal with strong commercial experience, this is a rare opportunity to step into a genuine leadership role.
You’ll inherit an established commercial practice with existing clients, strong referral relationships and quality workflow. You won’t be expected to bring a client following. Instead, you’ll be given the platform to build a team, deepen existing client relationships and shape the future direction of the practice.
About the role
Working across a broad range of commercial advisory and transactional matters, you’ll:
- Lead an established commercial practice with existing workflow.
- Build relationships with clients and referral partners.
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers while building your own team.
- Advise on commercial contracts, business sales, shareholder agreements, procurement, leasing and general commercial advisory matters.
- Play an active role in the ongoing growth of the practice and the firm.
This is more than a technical legal role. It’s an opportunity to lead, influence and build something meaningful.
About you
You’ll likely be:
- A Senior Associate, Special Counsel or junior Principal (approximately 8+ years’ PAE).
- Technically strong across commercial advisory and transactions.
- Someone who enjoys developing long-term client relationships.
- A lawyer who wants greater ownership, influence and leadership.
- Motivated by building a team, not simply managing files.
