This is a large, ASX-listed organisation operating globally across multiple sectors, with a significant corporate presence in Brisbane.
The business has excellent environmental credentials, is acquisitive, data-driven and continues to perform strongly, with consistent growth and a clear strategic direction.
Legal is well embedded within the business and works closely with senior stakeholders across regions.
About the Role:
Reporting into a senior legal team with global reach, this role will focus on supporting the APAC region.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts across Australia and New Zealand;
- Supporting acquisitions, due diligence and transaction execution;
- Advising internal stakeholders on legal risk in a clear, commercial manner;
- Managing disputes and liaising with external counsel where required;
- Supporting projects across data, IP, governance and operational initiatives.
This is a hands-on role with strong exposure to the business and the opportunity to develop into broader areas such as corporate governance over time.
Skills/Experience:
To be considered for the role, you will have:
• 3–5 years’ PAE in corporate/commercial law;
• Strong contract drafting and advisory skills;
• Exposure to transactions or due diligence (desirable);
• The ability to engage with stakeholders and provide practical advice;
• A commercial mindset and willingness to learn.
Candidates with prior in-house or secondment experience will be highly regarded.
